2009 In Reflection

  • Santa Clara County, CA retained Huskey & Associates to help the Department develop a new Juvenile Diversion Program to divert low-risk youth to informal interventions

  • Bobbie Huskey served as Expert Witness for the Wayne County Corporation Counsel and helped the County resolve a Civil Action between the Wayne County Jail and the County resulting in a Plan to reduce crowding, downsize the jail, expedite case processing, expand pre-trial supervision and community corrections. The plan projects a savings of $7.0 million annually

  • Huskey & Associates was hired by the Navajo Nation along with a team of experts to assist the Nation plan, program and design a comprehensive Justice Center on Navajo Nation land

  • Huskey & Associates has been retained by the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service to conduct Training on Evidence-Based Practices and the successful Cease Fire Program in Chicago, IL to juvenile officials in the Prison Service, Probation and Police

  • Huskey & Associates has been retained by the Wayne County, MI Department of Corporation Counsel to evaluate the Consent Orders related to Jail Medical and Mental Health Services and to Develop a Plan for Expanded Diversion Services of Non-Violent Mentally Ill Defendants

  • State of Connecticut Department of Children and Families approved Huskey & Associates' Program for their Girls Treatment Facility emphasizing a trauma-informed program and a design to support it.

  • Huskey & Associates has been retained by the Wayne County, MI Department of Corporation Counsel to assist the County in resolving a Civil Action with the Wayne County Jail on crowding and staffing.

  • Creek County, OK commissioned Huskey & Associates to lead their Needs Assessment for their Juvenile Justice Center.

  • Huskey & Associates has been retained to conduct a Statewide Needs Assessment and Juvenile Program and Facility Master Plan for the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs.
